All balloon flights are strictly regulated by the Turkish Directorate General of Civil Aviation (SHGM) for safety. If flights are grounded due to wind or weather, you receive an immediate 100% full refund with zero deductions, or you may transfer your booking to the following morning if seats are available.
What time is the hotel pickup for the balloon flight?
Pickup takes place between 04:00 - 05:00 AM from April to October, and 05:00 - 06:00 AM from November to March. Exact pickup times are confirmed directly to your WhatsApp the evening before your flight.
How high do the balloons fly?
Flights typically range from tree-top level (weaving right through Love and Rose Valleys for close-up views of rock formations) up to 2,000 - 3,000 feet (600 - 900 meters) above the valley floor for breathtaking panoramic views.
Are there age or physical restrictions?
Under civil aviation rules, children under 6 years of age and pregnant women are not permitted to fly. Passengers must be able to climb into the basket and stand comfortably for the duration of the one-hour flight.
